At Optimize, we believe that to deliver valuable services and drive a sustainable impact, it is necessary to capitalize on a well-designed “consulting model” that attends to every element of the problem.

As illustrated in the model below, our consulting model is composed of four phases.

Diagnosis of current situation
In consulting projects, it is important to clarify expectations about the end result the project is required to achieve as well as the roles of both the client and the consultant.  During this phase, it is also mandatory to agree on the measurement criteria of the project success. The target of each measure is of prime importance at this stage.
To establish a baseline, it is necessary to fully understand the current situation. A gap analysis is conducted during this phase to serve as the base against which the project progress and effectiveness is monitored and assessed during implementation and after the activity is completed.  Main stakeholders affected by the project are identified for further consideration during the design and deployment phases.

Design of intervention
Guided by our understanding of the problem, we commit ourselves to develop clients' advantage through authentic solutions. Our interventions are tailor-made to the needs and expectations of our clients.
During this phase, we ensure that our intervention is designed to meet the project objectives. A set of deliverables are identified, prioritized and linked to the different objectives of the project.
It is also important to ensure the project components are properly integrated and are contributing to the realization of the project’s end result. 

Deployment of action
Our approach to deployment is to fully involve our clients during implementation. We realize that this will require extra efforts, yet our commitment to real knowledge transfer and lasting impact entails developing mechanisms necessary to achieve success together with our clients.
During the deployment, progress and deliverables are constantly monitored and all efforts are structured and directed towards the achievement of project objectives.
Learning is an ongoing process and we are prepared to deal with any changes that may occur during deployment.

Delivering results 
Clients are willing to maintain lasting relationships with consultants only when planned results are achieved. It is important to measure and analyze the project performance and contrast it with the baseline established during the diagnosis phase.
